Our Story
SparkReceipt emerged from founder Antti's personal need to manage receipts, invoices, and bank statements more effectively as a small business owner. He developed the platform to address specific operational challenges rather than adopting generic expense trackers.
The Team
Antti founded SparkReceipt to solve his own bookkeeping headaches. Joel Ojala joined in spring 2024, bringing over a decade in fintech and SaaS β previously co-owning eTasku and founding ReceiptHero. Sampsa Vainio joined in 2024 after collaborating with Joel on eTasku and ReceiptHero, with a decade of digital marketing experience across 100+ clients globally. Engineers Jukka and Mikko joined in 2025 to accelerate product development.
