You can always request your personal and other data to be deleted from our systems. Here are the instructions on how to achieve this.
How to delete your account with the web application?
To delete your account data via the web application (https://app.sparkreceipt.com), follow these steps:
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to Account & Users.
- From the bottom section of the page, open the Destroy account section.
- To permanently delete your account, you will need to verify the process using your email address. Click on “request code” to generate and send a destroy token to your email address.
- Enter the destroy token to the input dialog and confirm account deletion.
- Your account and associated data is now deleted. If you have multiple accounts via the Linked Accounts feature, repeat this process with each of them.
- After all your accounts are deleted, your login details will also be deleted and you are logged out.
How to delete your account with the mobile application?
The process to delete your account(s) via the mobile application is very similar to the web app process. Here are the instructions:
- Log in to the mobile application
- Navigate to Profile.
- Tap on “Delete your account”.
- To permanently delete your account, you will need to verify the process using your email address. Click on “request code” to generate and send a destroy token to your email address.
- Enter the destroy token to the input dialog and confirm account deletion.
- Your account and associated data is now deleted. If you have multiple accounts via the Linked Accounts feature, repeat this process with each of them.
- After all your accounts are deleted, your login details will also be deleted and you are logged out.
