Can I separate business and personal expenses?
Yes, you can separate business and personal expenses in SparkReceipt. You can create multiple linked subaccounts (workspaces) under your main account to completely separate expenses between your different businesses or personal accounts.
Can I add employees or team members?
Yes. You can add additional users to your account and pay per seat. This makes it easy for employees, co-founders, or family members to upload and manage receipts together.
How can I deliver the receipts and documents to my accountant?
You have multiple options to choose from, and you can pick the best that works best for your collaboration workflow:
- Export your receipts and documents from SparkReceipt as CSV, Excel, or PDF files.
- Invite your accountant or bookkeeper to your account, so they have immediate access to your expenses.
- Generate a live link and share it with your accountant, eliminating the need for a dedicated user account for them. The live link allows limited access to your account to view e.g. receipts, documents and expense data from one month.
Are there any limits on how many receipts I can scan?
Document scanning, uploading, and email receipt forwarding are unlimited on the Elite plan. Credits are used for bank statement transaction extraction (1 credit = 1 transaction). Each plan includes monthly renewable credits per user, and you can purchase extra Consumable Credits at any time ($12 USD for 1000 credits) if you need to process larger volumes.
What languages does SparkReceipt support?
The app interface is available in English, French, Finnish, German, and Japanese, and SparkReceipt can read receipts written in almost any language.
How long does SparkReceipt store my receipts?
Your receipts are securely stored in your account for at least 10 years. You can export your data into Excel, CSV or ZIP-archive anytime.
Can SparkReceipt extract transactions from bank statements?
Yes. SparkReceipt extracts individual transactions from bank and credit card statements and matches them to your receipts automatically. Our Elite plan includes monthly extraction credits per user, plus bonus credits for processing historical statements.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and your billing will adjust accordingly.
Is my data safe in SparkReceipt?
Yes. Your data is securely encrypted and stored using industry-standard security practices. Only you and users you authorize can access your documents.
What happens to my receipts if I cancel my account?
Your receipts remain available for viewing and exporting even after cancellation.
Does SparkReceipt work in my country?
Yes. SparkReceipt works globally with support for 150+ currencies and any tax system, making it suitable for freelancers and businesses in over 80 countries.
